2023 Fall Class
Students who apply to the University Department have the opportunity to receive a $6,000 scholarship. Students who
apply

2023 Summer Class
Apply for an 8-week course (about 6-9 credits) in the Summer Class of 2023 , and the course price is discounted USD 3,000 Apply for a 4-week course (about 3 credits), and the course price is USD 1,500.

Application Process Apply
at least three months before the scheduled start date of your program at UW-Madison.
There is no set deadline for participation, but it can take several months to complete the entire admissions process and visa application. There are limited places per semester, so it is best to apply as early as possible.

Step 1:
Go to the website to check the desired VISP Track (there are traditional courses and subject categories to choose from).

Step 2:
Enter the website to apply formally.

Tips More than 99% of VISP participants have obtained "F-1 student visa".
If you are not sure which type to apply for, please contact VISP@dcs.wisc.edu for assistance. Please write "No" in the answer to the residency assessment question.
PS VISP students cannot be legal residents of Wisconsin.
 
Step 3:
Upload the application materials when submitting the application on the website,or submit the scanned copy to VISP@dcs.wisc.edu later.
*Please email only items that cannot be uploaded in the application to avoid duplication.
 
Documents required for application
  1. Official college transcripts (undergraduates only)
  2. English proficiency test scores (TOEFL/TOEIC/IELTS/iTEP/Duolingo), if required, see the VISP eligibility page of the website. Please send a certificate with raw scores to UW-Madison.
  3. Passport
  4. Financial proof documents
  5. F-1/J-1 visa, financial support documentation (bank statement and/or scholarship letter) showing at least the minimum cost of attendance.
If the bank statement is not in the name, please provide an affidavit of financial support signed by the account holder.

Note: Documentation of financial resources can be sent after enrollment.
 
Step 4: 
VISP coordinator will contact you within a few days of receiving your documents.
